BIO

Therapy can feel intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be. I’ve been there. My first experience with counseling in high school changed my life and inspired me to pursue this work. Now, my goal is to help others break through their own barriers and truly thrive.

I help teens and adults cultivate healthier relationships—with themselves, their bodies, and others. My specialties include relationship challenges, food and body image struggles, major life transitions, trauma, shame, and self-worth. Guiding individuals toward healing and growth is deeply fulfilling, and I’m passionate about helping people step into their power, create meaningful change, and experience true joy and connection.

Though I’ve worked extensively with children in the past, my current practice focuses on teens and adults. My approach is professional yet down-to-earth, creating a space where clients feel truly heard and supported. I believe in working collaboratively to help people achieve their personal goals and live fulfilling lives.

I take an integrative approach, blending EMDR, talk therapy, and expressive arts—while keeping it real with humor and the occasional cuss words 😉 At the heart of my work, I believe in being human first. Strong connections are the foundation of well-being, which is why finding the right therapeutic fit matters. Real growth happens through meaningful connection!

With over 20 years in the mental health field, I bring a wealth of experience as a counselor, supervisor and consultant. I’ve worked across all levels of care—from inpatient hospitals and treatment centers to nonprofits and outpatient services and have been in private practice since 2010.  With both clinical expertise and personal experience, I bring a deeply compassionate approach to my practice. More than anything, I want every person I work with to feel seen, supported, and empowered on their healing journey.

I believe everything you need is already within you! Maybe this journey isn’t about doing more or endlessly chasing self-improvement—maybe it’s about unbecoming everything you were taught to be, so you can fully embrace who you truly are. Whether you’re navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, food and body struggles, or healing from trauma, this is about reclaiming your true self and stepping into your power. I’d be honored to support you along the way.
