Starting therapy can feel overwhelming—I get it. My first experience with counseling was in high school, and it inspired me to become a therapist to help others. I know how hard it can be to reach out for help, and I also know how powerful it can be when you find the right support. Therapy is a collaborative process. That’s why finding the right therapeutic fit matters.

While I’ve worked extensively with children in the past, my current practice focuses on teens and adults. I’m passionate about helping individuals build healthier relationships—with themselves, their bodies, and others. My specialties include relationship issues, food and body image concerns, life transitions, trauma, shame, and self-worth.

At the heart of my work, I believe in being human first. My hope is that every person I work with will feel seen, supported, and empowered on their journey to create meaningful change. My style is professional yet down-to-earth, while keeping it real with humor and the occasional cuss word sprinkled in :).

With over 20 years in the mental health field, I bring a wealth of experience as a counselor, supervisor and consultant. I’ve worked across all levels of care—including hospitals and treatment centers to nonprofits and outpatient services — and have been in private practice since 2010. I take an integrative approach blending EMDR, talk therapy and expressive arts to help you reach your goals so you can live a more joyful, authentic and fulfilling life.

What if this journey isn’t about doing more or endlessly chasing self-improvement?  What if it’s about unbecoming everything you were taught you should be, so you can fully embrace who you truly are? Whether you’re navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, food and body struggles, or healing from trauma, this is about reclaiming your true self, and stepping into your power so you can live your best life. I’d be honored to support you along the way.
