Hi, I’m Jessica Callicutt.
You can call me Jess!

Like many teens, I had a hard time in high school.

For me, relationships seemed difficult. I felt insecure and uncomfortable in my own skin and struggled with anxiety and depression. I tried to cope with the overwhelming feelings and thoughts I was experiencing in unhealthy ways that didn’t help. I felt stuck and alone.

After discovering counseling—and finding the right therapist for me—I was able to develop strategies to support and improve my own quality of life, create healthier relationships with others and myself and get on a path toward better mental health. It was a game-changer for me, and it will be for you too!

Counseling was—and still is—a safe place for me to feel supported and accepted as-is and unconditionally, no matter what I want to discuss. I learned that my story matters, and I know that yours does too.

This is why I became a licensed therapist, to be here, ready and available to help other young people like me. So that you can share your truth, feel heard and be understood in a judgment-free zone. To be a safe place where you can receive needed wisdom and support from a professional who is licensed and trained to really help. A place to laugh and cry, to process both painful experiences and celebrate wins together along the way.

Through counseling, we will identify what is working—and not working—for you so you are able to move forward rather than feeling held back. Therapy is a place to grow your awesome-ness.

My mission is to help you heal, grow and create change so you can become solid in yourself, develop skills, and learn to cope with life’s challenges. I want YOU to THRIVE, not just survive.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S), Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPT-S), Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and Consultant (CEDS-C) and EMDR Certified Therapist I have almost 20 years of clinical experience in treating children, adolescents and young adults with a variety of mental health issues. I have worked in all levels of care—from inpatient to outpatient—and bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the chair. I love what I do and am excited to work with YOU!

In addition to counseling teens and young adults individually, my scope of services has grown to include both consultation and supervision for counselors, and speaking at large group training events for parents, educators, groups of clinicians and more. I am also a certified Embody Love Movement facilitator and am passionate about offering workshops that help girls and women to celebrate inner beauty, commit to kindness, and contribute to meaningful change in their lives and the world.

When I’m not working, you can find me traveling, enjoying time outdoors, doing yoga, reading or spending time with friends and family.
